Through the fresh eyes of Maja Nydal Eriksen and Simone Lilmoes, new light is thrown on the newest neighbourhood  of Copenhagen; Ørestad. With its award-winning architecture, the area sets the scene for artistic storytelling and interpretation.

Ørestad has been subject for a harsh critique concerning city planning, where modernistic apartment blocks and a huge shopping mall dominate the identity of the area.

Indoors //Outdoors points to the fact that the unique combination of large, light apartments in this intensely structured urbanity but also literally touching nature, offers an interesting alternative to the old city.

By creating a universe where both prejudges and the hidden possibilities of Ørestad coexists, the artists create a “third space” which is playful, optimistic and critical at the same time.
